My name is Michal Slanec and I love photography. As a wedding photographer based in Jihlava, I focus on capturing genuine emotions, love and the moments couples will want to remember for a lifetime. My approach blends emotive reportage with tasteful stylization — I look for natural moments while also creating beautiful portrait-style images of the couple in any chosen location. I emphasize natural communication and a calm atmosphere so even nervous clients feel comfortable quickly. My style is grounded in authenticity: rather than forcing poses, I aim to capture real smiles, looks and small interactions between people. At the same time, I have experience with stylized shoots and studio portraits, allowing me to deliver a wide range of results tailored to the couple's wishes. How I work: before the wedding I like to discuss your ideas and walk through locations with you to plan the best light and compositions. On the day I move discreetly but actively seek out emotionally rich moments — during the ceremony, the reception and spontaneous times with family and friends. I capture reportage sequences as well as composed couple portraits, balancing candid storytelling with striking visuals. After the wedding I also offer styled or "after-wedding" sessions at places you choose or in my studio in Jihlava. These sessions are perfect for relaxed portraits without the time pressure of the wedding day and allow for creative, stylized images. Technically, I work with top-tier equipment (Nikon Z8, Z7 and high-quality lenses), which enables me to deliver high-resolution images with faithful color reproduction. Beyond gear, I focus on composition, light and careful editing to convey not only the image but the mood of the day.
