My name is Markéta Tajovská and I consider wedding photography my main calling. In Havlíčkův Brod and the surrounding area I photograph weddings with a natural, unobtrusive approach — I prefer to tell the story of the day in a reportage style, blending in with guests to become an inconspicuous observer. My goal is for the final wedding photographs to truthfully convey the emotions, small moments and relationships that make your wedding unique. My work is built on simplicity and honesty. I don’t create exaggerated poses or stage moments — instead I look for genuine smiles, looks and gestures that you’ll enjoy viewing for years to come. For many couples it’s important that the photographer doesn’t “interrupt” the flow of the wedding; for that reason I aim to be discreet, moving among guests and shooting so the atmosphere remains authentic. Working with me is straightforward and personal. Before the wedding I like to talk about your expectations, ceremony locations and the key moments you want preserved. On the wedding day I work discreetly and respectfully toward the schedule and your guests — when it’s helpful I’ll advise on poses or find a beautiful spot for a short portrait session. I most often shoot outdoors in nature — a forest, fields or a pond add natural light and a gentle atmosphere to the images. Besides wedding photography, I also specialise in family photography as another core area of my work, and I’m happy to arrange shorter engagement shoots on request.
