Hi — I'm Petr Kotrlík, a wedding photographer based in Klášterec nad Ohří, working naturally and documentary-style across the Czech Republic and beyond. My approach is simple: I aim to capture your day as it truly was — without forced posing, with plenty of laughter, humor and genuine emotions that will last for decades. Why choose me? I love black-and-white aesthetics because they emphasize expression and feeling, but I always deliver color images as well, so you get the best of both worlds. My photos tell the continuous story of your day — from preparations, through the ceremony, to the evening party. I prefer a reportage approach, looking for those small, unscripted moments that often become the favourite images in the album. How I work: First we'll have a conversation about your expectations — what matters most to you, where the wedding will take place and what your schedule looks like. I’m happy to offer recommendations for the timeline or suggest simple, fun ideas to help you relax and enjoy the day. On the wedding day I try to be almost invisible; I won’t push you into unnatural poses, but during portrait or group sessions I’ll gently direct you so the final images look their best. I also offer pre-wedding (engagement) sessions — a great opportunity to get to know each other ahead of the big day and to create images for announcements or keepsakes. After the wedding you’ll receive professionally edited images digitally; each final edit typically includes both a color and a black-and-white version. My work is honest and respectful of the atmosphere of your moments.
