My name is Petr Havlát and I approach weddings with enthusiasm — mainly in my home area of Brno and its surroundings. For me, wedding photography is more than just pictures: it’s a collection of small stories made of real moments, laughter, subtle gestures and an atmosphere that will never repeat exactly. That is what I enjoy most about being a wedding photographer. My style is relaxed and documentary. I aim to be where the important moments happen while remaining unobtrusive — so your day stays as natural as possible and you don’t have to think about me. In practice this means searching for authentic moments, working with natural light and choosing simple, emotion-driven compositions. The result is wedding photography that feels gentle, honest and timeless. I find it important to establish an open conversation with the couple before the wedding day — we’ll discuss your vision, the atmosphere you prefer and align everything so the shoot runs smoothly. During the day I act primarily as an observer with sensitivity to moments, but I’m also happy to suggest a few ideas for couple or formal portraits if you wish. I’m not a formally trained photographer — my background is in food science — but that different perspective and a strong work ethic are qualities I bring to my photography. Outside of weddings I enjoy capturing everyday stories, family photography and portrait photography, although weddings remain my main specialty.
