My name is Michal Bernátek and I approach wedding photography with both heart and professional dedication. My work is built on a documentary approach — I am a quiet companion and a decisive guide who seeks genuine emotions, unforced moments and natural interactions throughout the day. On the day itself I work unobtrusively, focusing on details, guests’ reactions and those moments that can’t be planned. After the wedding I carefully select and edit the images so the final album becomes a compact, emotive narrative. My work springs from personal passion — photography gave me a new direction after a personal loss and since then it has been deeply fulfilling to be part of your life’s important moments. I work professionally, efficiently and with respect for family atmosphere and traditions. Being based in Brno gives me a good knowledge of local venues and lighting conditions, which I use to the advantage of beautiful wedding imagery. Besides weddings I also photograph occasional commercial and event projects, but my heart and specialist focus remain with wedding reportage.
