As a wedding photographer I focus above all on naturalness and authenticity — I want to capture your day exactly as it really was. I’m based in Prague and work mainly in the Smíchov area, but I’m happy to travel anywhere across the Czech Republic and abroad. My work is about stories and emotions: I look for the quiet, spontaneous moments as well as the big bursts of joy, so you can relive your day through the photographs. Why choose me as your wedding photographer? I offer a sensitive and personal approach — I know how to put at ease even those who are nervous about being photographed, and I guide situations calmly and empathetically when gentle direction is needed. My images have a documentary feel: I prefer a reportage style that combines candid capture of moments with beautiful, simple portraits you’ll take away from preparations, the ceremony and the afternoon program. I notice light, the mood of a place and small details that together compose an authentic portrait of your day. How does our collaboration work? First we talk about your vision — what’s important to you, where the wedding will take place and what atmosphere best represents you. I like to build a relationship with couples before the wedding because it creates more trust and naturalness in the final images. On the wedding day I work unobtrusively and attentively: I follow the flow, look for moments and leave room for spontaneity. When necessary I gently direct compositions, but most of my shots arise from natural interaction. Technically, I primarily shoot on a Fujifilm GFX 50R medium-format mirrorless camera and I also use analog techniques for a specific, time-tinged aesthetic. After the wedding I devote careful attention to selecting and editing the photographs so the final collection is a faithful and sensitive record of your day.
