I am a wedding photographer based in Nusle and a photojournalism student at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University. I consciously work in the spirit of documentary reportage—interested in the natural storytelling of the day, authentic moments and the atmosphere that together form the true story of a wedding. My main focus is the person and their surroundings, so I aim to be an observer rather than a director, allowing the resulting images to feel honest and alive. My work often draws on a journalistic approach: I follow the dynamics of the moment, look for small gestures and relationships between people, while paying attention to aesthetics and composition. I primarily work in color and with natural light—I believe this approach best conveys the emotions and authentic atmosphere of your day. A wedding reportage with me means capturing both the whole and the details: from preparations and the ceremony to the evening celebration. How I work with couples: first, I like to have a conversation—about your ideas, the moments that matter most to you, and the venue. During the wedding I move discreetly and sensitively, offering minimal direction where needed and above all seeking situations that tell the story. If you’d like a few portraits, I make them within the natural flow of the day, emphasizing mood and atmosphere rather than strict posing. Besides weddings, I also shoot documentary and event work—my photojournalism studies have given me experience in handling time and narrative in reportage, which benefits my wedding series. I’m happy to travel: I photograph anywhere reachable by train, so I’m open to both Prague and further locations across the country.
