Photo Poète

Photo Poète is the photographic name under which I create wedding stories — I'm Tereza, and I approach wedding photography with attention, empathy and quiet storytelling. If you are looking for a photographer who listens first and then unobtrusively records the moments, you're in the right place. My approach combines reportage and artistic sensibilities: I search for truthful, pure emotions, small details and the light of the moment that turn a wedding into a real story. Why choose Photo Poète? I work with respect for the flow of the day — I let moments unfold and photograph what moves me. I avoid exaggerated posing and heavy stylization; instead, I capture intimate touches, laughter, tears of emotion and spontaneous joy. My experience photographing across different regions (travel has shaped me from New Zealand to Madeira) allows me to adapt to a variety of lighting and local conditions — from urban gardens and mountain elopements to seaside weddings. How does the collaboration work? I like to begin with a personal or online meeting where we talk about your vision, the venue and the atmosphere you want your photos to convey. During the day I remain unobtrusive and respectful toward guests, but whenever needed I can gently guide with sensitivity — for example during couple portraits, so the resulting images feel natural and beautiful. After the wedding I process the photographs with attention to color and the conveyed mood, so you can return to them as a family treasure for years to come. Although my main focus is wedding photography (including elopements and engagement stories), I also offer couple, family and maternity sessions in Prague and the surrounding area — always emphasizing authenticity and a sensitive approach.
