I’m Lenka Šílová, a wedding photographer — weddings are my passion and the main focus of my work. I specialize in natural wedding photography and documentary-style coverage that doesn’t overpower the day’s emotions but allows them to speak for themselves. My approach is quiet observation: I aim to be in the right place at the right moment to capture smiles, tears and the small details that make up your story. I approach each wedding personally and with heart. It’s important to me that the shooting takes place in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere — that’s how truly natural images are created. Before the wedding I like to meet with you to talk through your ideas, the venue and the style so we’re on the same page. On the wedding day I work unobtrusively; I prefer a documentary approach with occasional gentle guidance so we also get beautiful portrait moments of the newlyweds. My path to photography has been gradual and conscientious — I have been photographing for many years and learned step by step. Because of this experience I know how to work with people, how to create a friendly environment for those who may not feel natural in front of a lens, and how to preserve the authenticity of the moment. For me, photographs are not just pictures — they are memories, anchors you will happily return to. Based in Horní Měcholupy, I primarily photograph weddings in Prague and the surrounding area, but I’m happy to travel wherever your day is planned.
