I am Jan (Honza) Kyncl — a wedding photographer from Trutnov who also works in and around Chrudim. I treat wedding photography as my primary passion: every wedding is a unique story that I document naturally, sensitively and with respect for the atmosphere of the day. My style combines unobtrusive reportage with a few thoughtfully composed couple portraits so the final wedding photos capture real emotions while also looking beautiful in a photobook or on the wall. I take an individual approach to each wedding: we discuss everything thoroughly in advance, and I often scout the location a day before to find the best light and composition opportunities. I travel with a camper van, so I can reach farther venues — I’m flexible and happy to adapt to your plans. My work is about relationships with people. I aim to be an unobtrusive documentarian who moves among guests like a friendly extra, not a distracting presence. At the same time, I’m ready to suggest original ideas for group shots or climb for a better angle — and we can arrange a pre-wedding (engagement) shoot to ease nerves before the big day. The number of edited photographs and the level of post-production are matters we agree on together — some couples prefer a curated selection of fully polished images, others want more extensive documentary coverage. I also offer the option to add a wedding video in collaboration with Pepa Horák — we have worked together long-term as a coordinated photo & video team. Beyond shooting, I’m happy to help with printing, creating a photobook or preparing files for large-format prints.
