Hi, I’m Jan — a wedding and portrait photographer from Šumperk. I see wedding photography as a way to preserve the genuine emotions and moments that form your story. I specialize in wedding photography and engagement shoots, and I prefer a natural, documentary-style approach: I observe, wait for the right moment, and capture it so the resulting images bring back the atmosphere of the day every time you look at them. Why choose me as your wedding photographer? I combine an eye for composition honed in street photography with experience from many wedding stories. My goal isn’t to create posed images alone — I want every photograph to tell a piece of your history. I’m a quiet observer and an unobtrusive guide who helps ease nerves and gently directs couples so beautiful, authentic images arise without forced posing. How we work: we’ll meet in person or online to discuss your ideas and the places that matter to you. I like to listen — to your concepts and the little details that make the day unique. On the wedding day I prioritize spontaneity and a reportage flow, while always making time for a few calm portrait frames that become a design element in your album. An engagement session is a great way to get comfortable with me and to relax before your big day. I primarily work around Olomouc and I’m originally from Šumperk, but I’m happy to travel across the Czech Republic and abroad for a beautiful location or an inspiring story. My work is about relationships: I want you to feel natural, safe and yourself in front of the camera.
