My name is Katka and as a lifestyle wedding photographer from Olomouc I focus on authentically capturing the moments of your wedding day. For me, wedding photography is more than posed portraits — it’s the story of the day, the emotions and the small moments that will never repeat. That is why I work naturally and in a reportage style: I am more of an observer than a director, I adapt to your schedule and aim to keep the photographing unobtrusive and respectful of the atmosphere. My approach is built on trust and comfort: before the wedding I like to have a conversation to get to know you, and if you wish I offer an engagement shoot which helps relax the mood and creates a comfortable foundation for the big day. At the ceremony and reception I concentrate on capturing genuine emotions — laughter, embraces, unexpected moments and sensitive details. I combine a documentary overview of the event with a few thoughtful portraits at moments when there is time and when you want them. I mostly shoot with natural light and in a lifestyle style — this applies to moments that happen at home or behind the scenes of your preparations as well. I work in Olomouc and the surrounding area, but I photograph weddings across the Czech Republic. My strengths include a sensitive, personal approach to people, experience with family and couple sessions, and the ability to create a calm, intimate atmosphere where you can be yourselves.
