Jedlickafoto — that's me, Dominik Jedlička, a wedding photographer from Olomouc for whom photographing is not just a job but a joy and a life passion. I specialize in wedding photography and believe that a wedding is above all a story full of emotions worth capturing so your photos bring you back to the smallest details. My approach is reportage: I follow the story, search for genuine moments, and when needed I'm not afraid to get a little creative to make an image that truly breathes you. I have been photographing for about ten years, and in that time I've learned that a good wedding photographer is more than just technique — they must be a support, a friend, and an unobtrusive observer at once. Before the wedding I like to talk with the couple, go over the day's schedule, discuss places where you feel comfortable, and, if necessary, scout locations. I strive to keep the shooting natural and stress-free, in an atmosphere where people laugh and can be themselves. I work primarily in Olomouc, but I photograph weddings across the Czech Republic and abroad — I'm happy to travel to places like Slovakia. Each year I accept a limited number of weddings because I want to give every couple real attention and time. My work is about details — from spontaneous smiles to quiet moments between rituals.
