My name is Hana Benešová Smutná and I photograph weddings out of conviction — I love genuine moments that last forever. I am based in Starý Bohumín and work throughout the Moravian‑Silesian Region (Ostrava, Beskydy), but I am happy to travel to weddings in South Moravia or anywhere else you plan to get married. Wedding photography is my main specialization and I approach each job as the personal story of every couple. Why choose me as your wedding photographer? My strength lies in a documentary, reportage approach — I observe emotions, moments, details and natural interactions so that your wedding photos tell the story of your day as it truly happened. I am not focused on exaggerated posing; I guide you gently so you feel comfortable and let authentic candid moments emerge between people. With empathy and patience I handle even hectic moments and create a calm atmosphere for bridal portraits. How does our collaboration work? Before the wedding I like to arrange a pre-wedding meeting or a short get-to-know session — we will discuss the schedule, locations for photos and your preferences. On the wedding day I work discreetly with an emphasis on reportage: I capture preparations, the ceremony, the atmosphere of the reception and spontaneous fun. After the shoot you will receive edited photos in an online gallery — quick delivery of the first images is standard for me. In addition to weddings, I also photograph maternity and family sessions — these genres inspire me and help me create sensitive family portraits. I also offer basic business and portrait photography as a complement, but weddings are the area where I am a specialist.
