My name is Jakub and, as JH Photography in Ostrava, I focus primarily on wedding photography and wedding video. My work is not about posed shots without emotion — it’s about telling the story of your day as you live it. I believe the most valuable wedding photographs are made when people forget the camera and allow themselves to be truly themselves. How I work with clients: we meet in person or discuss your plans online, go through your day’s schedule and agree on locations for both portrait and reportage shots. On the wedding day I act more as an observer than a director — I don’t force moments, but I gently guide where needed. This approach produces natural photographs that will bring back true emotions when you look at them in the years to come. My specialization is documentary wedding photography — from full-day coverage and intimate moments to portraits of the newlyweds. A wedding video is also available as an optional complement if you want a complete cinematic experience.
