I’m Viktor Petříček, a photographer based in Orlová, and wedding photography is my primary focus. I prefer a documentary-style approach — seeking genuine moments, emotions and the situations that shape your day. My philosophy is simple: capture the wedding so the photos tell a story without forced smiles, while remaining open to gently guided poses we create together. My experience from many weddings and from covering cultural and sporting events gives me a strong sense of timing and scene dynamics. In practice this means the images show authentic emotion while maintaining balanced composition, light and color. How do I work with couples before and on the wedding day? Initial arrangements are handled by email or phone; about a month before the wedding I like to have a pre-wedding meeting so we can get to know each other and go over the day’s schedule. On the wedding day I combine a reportage approach with unobtrusive portraits of the couple and family — all so the final album is varied and filled with real memories. I deliver photos via a clear, private online gallery suitable for printing and sharing. Technical reliability and data security are a matter of course for me. I work with branded equipment (Nikon Z6ii, Nikon Z5) and always maintain backup copies to minimize the risk of losing images. After the shoot I thoroughly back up and keep copies so you can rely on your photos long-term. In addition to weddings I offer family and maternity photography and documentary coverage of cultural and sporting events as complementary services.
