I’m Mirek (Miroslav Frühauf) and I’ve been working as a wedding photographer for over 15 years. I see the wedding day as one big story — full of emotion, closeness and joy — and my job is to record those moments so that, years from now, your photographs will bring back the exact feeling you experienced that day. I position myself as a specialist in wedding photography: my attention and experience go primarily into wedding reportage and wedding photos, where sensitivity, awareness and the ability to be both an unobtrusive observer and a trusted partner during portrait moments are essential. My approach is natural and relaxed. I aim to keep the shoot calm and free of unnecessary tension — whether it’s brief portrait moments during the day or a broader reportage from preparations through the evening celebration. In practice, this means I combine a documentary style with gentle guidance of moments so that authentic, emotion-filled images emerge. Every photograph receives careful post-processing, because I give the same care to capturing images as I do to working on them in the computer — I want your final wedding photos to be beautiful, natural and ready for long-term preservation. How do we work together? I like to meet beforehand — in person or online — to discuss your expectations, locations and wedding style. On the wedding day I keep a professional yet unobtrusive role: I blend in with guests but am ready to react at the right moment and create a wedding reportage that is fluent and true to the day. I’m based in Opava and travel across the Moravian–Silesian Region; if you wish, I’m happy to discuss specific venues and lighting conditions in advance.
