Hello — I’m Karolína (Kája) Planková and I consider wedding photography the most beautiful task: to capture that unique day so your photos bring back the same emotions every time you look at them. I specialize in a reportage (documentary) style that lets me work discreetly while staying ready to record the important moments — from a quiet sigh to loud laughter. Why choose me for your wedding day? My work is rooted in naturalness and a relaxed atmosphere. I approach the couple and guests with respect and calm, and I can gently direct, advise or soothe when needed. As a mother of two boys, I’m used to improvising, handling unexpected situations and working with children and challenging moments without disrupting the flow of the wedding. I know how to create a relaxed environment so emotions can surface naturally. My style: natural wedding photography with an emphasis on reportage. I focus on details, small touches, glances and atmosphere so the images feel truthful and timeless. I’m not after exaggerated poses but the story of your day — how you and your loved ones experience it. If you’d like some more deliberately posed shots, I’m happy to create them — everything is arranged individually. How we work: first we talk in person or by phone about your ideas and the key moments of the day. On location I’m unobtrusive, attentive and try to be where something real is happening. After the wedding I carefully select and edit the images so every picture conveys the moment’s atmosphere. I mainly serve Frýdek‑Místek, Ostrava, Havířov and the surrounding area, but I’m happy to travel further. Besides weddings I offer engagement/pre-wedding shoots as an add-on — ideal for relaxed preparation and getting to know each other before the big day.
