I’m Roman Branda, a wedding photographer based in Náchod, specializing primarily in documentary wedding photography. I’ve been photographing weddings for more than five years, and for me each wedding is above all a story — full of emotions, subtleties, and moments worth preserving. My work is built on empathy and an open approach; I’m naturally extroverted and enjoy working with people so they feel relaxed and authentic in front of the lens. My very first wedding — my cousin’s ceremony in Police nad Metují at the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary — taught me that wedding photography is more than just images. The nervous excitement I felt then turned into joy and confidence that this is the discipline I want to pursue fully. Since that day I’ve developed a sensitivity for capturing moments that may seem modest at first glance, but that form the heart of lasting memories. My style is natural and documentary-focused — I emphasize authentic emotion, light, and composition. I draw inspiration from color, black-and-white processing, a vintage mood, and creative perspectives, but above all from the people I photograph. I strive to maintain a calm and pleasant atmosphere: before the wedding I like to discuss your schedule, the portrait locations you prefer, and your expectations. On the day, I work unobtrusively, searching for the moments between gestures and words so that after the wedding you receive a genuine story of your day. What can you expect from me? Careful editing and a personal approach from our first conversation to final delivery. I deliver thoughtfully retouched digital files — often accompanied by printed photos, a gift box, and a USB with your images; I can also prepare a photobook on request.
