I’m Baru — a wedding photographer based in Hradec Králové, specializing in wedding photography and documentary-style reportage that feels natural, gentle and full of emotion. My work is built on trust and a relaxed atmosphere: I don’t want to hide who you are, I want to capture how you truly experience each other. I see photography as a collaborative process. Before the wedding I like to have a conversation about where you feel most natural, what the day means to you and what your rhythm is. When people relax and forget they’re being photographed, the most beautiful images appear. By combining documentary reportage with sensitive portrait moments, I create a cohesive set of photos that tells your story fully and without artificial posing. My path to photography comes from a mix of education and hands-on experience — I studied philosophy and transportation engineering, attended the Hradec photography conservatory and was fortunate to learn from experienced photographers. All of this taught me to listen, observe and find aesthetics both in details and everyday moments. I work primarily with natural light, pay close attention to composition and atmosphere, and I’m always ready for the dynamic pace of a wedding day.
