I’m Ondřej Raffel — a wedding photographer based in Písek, specialising in documentary and natural wedding photography. My work is driven by a desire to capture genuine emotions and the small moments that make your day unique. I photograph more like “another guest with a camera” — quietly present but ready to be in the right place at the right moment. I take a personal approach to every assignment: I like to talk before the wedding about your ideas, favourite inspirations and practical details of the day. This conversation helps create a relaxed atmosphere during the shoot and ensures the final images reflect exactly how you want to remember the day. If you’re interested in an engagement or couple session, I can organise it to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera — and it also gives us a valuable chance to test our collaboration. My style combines a reportage approach with sensitive use of light and attention to detail. Rather than forcing staged poses, I look for moments of laughter, quiet looks and natural interactions between people. I also focus on small details — rings, decorations and the little scenes that tell the story of the wedding. While I mainly photograph weddings across South Bohemia, I’m happy to travel anywhere your celebration takes place. Photography for me is more than technique — it’s about building a relationship with people. I aim to be friendly, patient and flexible so the whole day runs as smoothly and enjoyably as possible.
