Hello — I’m Pavel Balek, a wedding photographer based in České Budějovice. Wedding photography is my main passion and specialization: I love documenting real moments, emotions and the small details that make your day unique. How I work: I always start with a personal or virtual meeting to understand your ideas and the mood you want for the wedding. On the wedding day I follow the flow of events closely — from preparations through the ceremony to the evening celebrations — and I try to capture both the overall atmosphere and the unexpected moments. In addition to classic reportage coverage, I like to include quieter moments for couple portraits that complement the documentary part of an album. My style is influenced by travel and a love of discovering interesting locations and light conditions. This perspective helps me approach each wedding with a creative eye, seeking unconventional angles or compositions that highlight the uniqueness of the venue and the couple. Besides weddings, I also photograph event reportage and portraits — services I offer as a complement, while my primary expertise remains wedding photography.
