My name is Jiří Hazuka and I have been actively photographing since 2011. I consider wedding photography a work with memory and emotions — my aim is to create images that, years from now, will bring back the atmosphere of the day you lived through. I specialize in wedding reportage, where natural moments, a feel for timing and a discreet approach are essential. These principles form the foundation of my work. My style is primarily documentary, with emphasis on authentic, unrepeatable moments. I strive to be an unobtrusive observer: capturing laughter among guests, a fleeting glance between the couple, or the small details that tell the story of the wedding. To complement my reportage approach, I create carefully composed couple portraits — whether on location or in a studio — that round out the wedding gallery and produce lasting memories infused with the mood of the day. I work mainly in České Budějovice and the surrounding area, where I know many beautiful spots for couple portraits as well as locations that suit relaxed, natural moments. Before the wedding I like to discuss your ideas and priorities so I can adapt to the rhythm of your event. I also offer engagement or pre-wedding sessions, which help break the ice and build mutual trust before the main day. My work is based on open communication, a calm atmosphere and experience gained from long-term wedding and event photography. During the day I work so that guests forget the presence of the lens, allowing you to receive natural, unobtrusive images.
