I am Jana Jochmanová (known as Jochmanka) and wedding photography is my primary calling. I approach photographing weddings with my heart — seeking genuine feelings instead of posed expressions — so the final wedding photos tell your story exactly as it happened. My style is natural and documentary: I work unobtrusively so you can live your day without stress and still receive authentic images full of emotion, detail, and the moments you might otherwise miss. I operate from Slaný and am ready to travel throughout the Czech Republic. Getting to your location is never a problem, and weekend coverage is standard for me. With more than a decade of experience in wedding photography, I’ve learned to read the atmosphere and react swiftly to changing light and emotions, ensuring each scene looks natural and timeless. My work has been exhibited and I have received awards in competitions, which complement my sensitivity to composition and decisive moments. How I work: before the wedding I like to talk about your ideas — what types of photos you prefer, what matters most to you, and where the celebration will take place. On the wedding day I photograph gently and unobtrusively, combining documentary shots with composed frames that highlight the mood and personality of the couple. If you wish, I will also make family and group portraits; however, my main focus is keeping the day feeling natural. After the wedding I edit images with respect for the day’s mood and tone so the final gallery becomes a beautiful, truthful memory.
