Hello, I’m Jiří Šupej — a wedding photographer based in Mělník for whom photographing is both a passion and a way of life. At weddings I focus on telling the story of your day: not through forced poses, but through authentic moments that arise naturally. My work blends documentary (reportage) sensitivity with careful portrait photography — creating images that both document events and beautifully reflect the couple’s personality. My approach is pragmatic and human: on the day I aim to be an unobtrusive observer, while remaining an accessible guide for the couple and their families. In portrait sessions I emphasise naturalness and straightforward setups that allow your personality to shine without over-posing. Experience with preparations, ceremonies and evening celebrations gives me the confidence to capture unexpected yet priceless moments. Besides wedding photography I offer engagement sessions — a great way to get to know each other before the big day and to create beautiful images for invitations or your wedding website. I can also arrange short video clips or drone footage on request, though my primary focus remains on creating thoughtful wedding photographs.
