I’m Martin Souček and wedding photography is my main passion. Based primarily in Kutná Hora and the surrounding area, I specialize in wedding reportage that tells the true story of your day. I don’t just photograph people — I focus on the relationships between them: those small looks, touches and moments that stay in your memory long after the day has passed. My approach is honest and unobtrusive: I combine documentary sensibility with care for beautiful portraits. I enjoy working in natural light and outdoors where people can feel relaxed and be themselves. At the same time, I can organise family and group shots so the result feels natural yet composed, showing the personalities and relationships of the couple and their guests. I am self-taught and have been photographing since 2016. My vision has been shaped by inspirations such as Ján Šmok, Miloslav Stibor and Annie Leibovitz. Technology and experience allow me to be flexible: I can be an unobtrusive documentarian during the ceremony, but also an active coordinator for portrait sessions. I use modern equipment including flash, which enables me to work reliably in challenging light and occasionally share selected images during the wedding day. My working style is built on personal connection with clients — pre-wedding consultations are important to me so we can clarify expectations and build trust. I truly believe the best images are made when we understand each other. If I feel another photographer would better suit a specific couple, I won’t hesitate to recommend them — the couple’s satisfaction is always my top priority. Beyond weddings I offer family photography and portrait photography, and occasionally provide accompanying video or event photography.
