I am Petra Skokanová — a family photographer from Kolín who specializes primarily in wedding photography. I see the wedding day as the beginning of your big story; my passion is to capture its energy, euphoria and the quiet moments that become lasting memories for years to come. I work sensitively and unobtrusively: rather than posed images, I prefer natural reportage that documents emotions, relationships and spontaneous moments from preparations to the evening celebration. Before the wedding I like to talk so I can understand your story, expectations and the important moments you don’t want to miss. On the day itself I shoot discreetly and flexibly according to what’s happening, then carefully edit the selected images so the final gallery tells a harmonious and personal story. I mainly photograph in and around Kolín, Kutná Hora and Poděbrady, but I’m happy to travel further by arrangement. In addition to weddings, I also photograph families and maternity sessions — these experiences strengthen my ability to work with children and multiple generations, bringing natural warmth and familial connection into wedding images.
