I’m Jan Strnad from Kolin and wedding photography is my main calling. With more than twenty years of experience I focus primarily on documenting weddings — from preparations, through the ceremony and reception, to the dancing and unexpected moments. My philosophy is to tell the story of your day naturally and without unnecessary staging: I emphasize genuine emotions, atmosphere and the details you will want to remember for years to come. Working with me is calm and respectful. Before the wedding we’ll happily discuss the flow of the day, locations that mean something to you, and which images are most important. On the wedding day I strive to be an unobtrusive observer while also being ready at the right moment to create portraits — a combination of reportage coverage and planned portrait moments ensures a complete record of your wedding. I use professional equipment and top-quality Sony G‑Master lenses, which allow me to handle a wide range of lighting conditions reliably and produce images of outstanding quality. I deliver carefully edited photos in a natural style that honors authentic colors and the emotions of the event. Thanks to my experience I can also advise on simple organization of the shoot during the day so that everything flows smoothly and without stress. Although wedding photography is my specialty, I also offer pre-wedding engagement and portrait sessions as a complement — an ideal way to meet beforehand and create beautiful couple images.
