I’m Milan Mikula — a wedding photographer based in Beroun who focuses primarily on documentary wedding photography. My work is founded on one principle: the emotions of the wedding day are at their most beautiful when they are allowed to breathe on their own. I avoid exaggerated poses and staged scenes — instead I aim to be an unobtrusive observer who captures the moments that later make couples say “I didn’t even know you were photographing that.” That is the highest compliment for me. I photograph weddings across Czechia and abroad, operating from my base in Beroun. I specialize in a reportage style that blends sensitivity to light, strong composition, and authentic human moments. On the wedding day I make sure the atmosphere stays relaxed — I do my best so that the ceremony, the first dance, or short family portraits happen naturally and without unnecessary stress. During couple or pre-wedding sessions I like to establish a personal connection so you feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. How I work: first we arrange a personal meeting or a phone call to discuss your expectations and the timeline of the day. At the wedding I work unobtrusively with an emphasis on authentic reportage — and although I let the story unfold, I never forget the important details, family portraits, and moments that should be included in the final gallery. After the wedding I deliver the images through a shared online gallery where you can comfortably view and download your photos. Why choose me?
